ART 595 Scholarly Thesis

The thesis shall be a unique contribution to the scholarship on art history, theory, criticism, visual culture, and/or aesthetics. In consultation with a faculty advisor, the student shall select a topic, generate a bibliography, critically analyze sources and works of art, and construct a written argument situating his or her thesis with respect to recent scholarship in the field. Pass/Fail. Prerequisite: ART 594. Spring
