POS 340 Politics of Race & Ethnicity

This course examines the academic treatment of race and ethnicity as political structures in the United States. Readings and discussions include close examinations of theories about race and ethnicity, especially comparing 'constructivist' and 'essentialist' approaches. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement.
