COM 471 The Agency
Students learn to apply theory and production skills in providing communications products and services to clients. Projects involve some independent work, but the major emphasis is on teamwork in an effort to propose, plan and deliver media projects to specific client needs. This course can be repeated once. This course includes a hands-on component in which students use items such as photographic, video and audio recording devices, software applications for editing images, video, and audio, and posting to and viewing content from the Internet based on client needs. Prerequisite: COM 227 Public Relations History or its equivalent and either COM 370 or COM 371 or COM 372.
