SWK 690 Specialized Field Practicum 2

This course supports and expands upon the learning and skill development begun in the first semester of the advanced year. Students will continue their placement at the field agency assigned in the first semester. During their 16 hours per week in the field agency, students will use professional social work field instruction to advance learning and apply knowledge and social work ethics and values to their practice with clients and communities that enhance well-being. This course includes 1.5 hours a week in classroom instruction with faculty instructor, focusing on clinical skills, diagnostic assessment, therapeutic intervention, evaluation and supervision. Co-requisite: SWK 622.
