CJS 492 MOCK TRIAL III

This course is open to students who had successfully participated as members of the Saint Rose Judge Loretta A. Preska National Mock Trial Association Competition Team (CJS 490-491) in the previous year. Admission to the course is by professor’s permission. The national competition alternates between civil and criminal trial scenarios. Students returning to the team will therefore be engaged in study, preparation and trial of a case involving different substantive, procedural and evidentiary law than was encountered in the CJS 490-491. Student will also serve as mentors to those students joining the team for the first time in CJS 490. Students registering for this course must be willing to commit to registration in CJS 493 in the Spring semester. Fall semester enrollment in CJS 490 and 492 is limited to a total of 10 students. Prerequisite: CJS 491
