ENG 217 Crime Fiction

A study of crime, mystery, and/or detective fiction as a genre; the course includes readings of short stories, novels, and critical work about writing and reading crime fiction. There may be consideration of the history of the genre, its cultural evolution, and its current place in the literary canon. (L04)
