ART 112 Three-Dimensional Concepts

An introduction to three-dimensional form and spatial thinking. Students move through a series of problem-solving projects emphasizing research, synthesis and experimentation. Students are introduced to a wide range of techniques and processes including wood fabrication, metal fabrication and mixed media construction. Students acquire an understanding of fundamental design theory, construction processes and tool proficiency. Students become proficient in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools.
