GCE 560 Internship in Global and Comparative Education

An internship selected and proposed during GCE 530: Intermediate Colloquium and designed to meet the individual needs of the student; the internship is typically one that provides experience with a culture different from the student’s primary culture. Internship sites include but are not limited to relevant non-governmental organizations; governmental agencies; foundations or institutes; private industries; and public and/or private K-12 schools. Interns are required to spend, at the internship site, a minimum of 60 hours total distributed relatively evenly across at least three weeks. Responsibilities will vary depending on the possibilities offered by the site. Open only to Saint Rose Global and Comparative Education students. Co-Requisite: GCE 550: Internship Seminar: Global and Comparative Education. Spring.
