SWK 379 Social Work Practice with Individuals, Groups and Families
Students learn the early phases of generalist intervention with micro and mezzo systems. Learnings include interviewing skills associated with engagement, empathy, the problem-solving model, and early assessment of the functioning of client systems. To be taken concurrently with SWK 315 and SWK 378. Open solely to Social Work majors and minors. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement. Prerequisites: SWK 212, 213, SWK 114, SWK 215. Spring
