Progress toward Degree or Advanced Certificate

Students accepted to degree or advanced certificate programs are expected to work with continuity and to register for courses in those programs until all requirements are completed. Ordinarily, students register each semester for a minimum of three credit hours. Full-time students carry a minimum of nine credit hours per semester. Students may take up to 12 credit hours in a given semester; School of Business students may take up to 15 credits in a given semester; Social Work students may take up to 17 credits in a given semester; Communication Sciences and Disorders students enrolling in pre-requisite undergraduate courses may enroll in up to a combined undergraduate and graduate 17 credits in a given semester with a maximum of 12 graduate credits. All courses to be counted toward the degree must be completed within six years.
