MAT 140 Excursions in Modern Math

Designed for the liberal arts student as an introduction to the real world of mathematics and financial literacy, this course takes the student through a variety of topics including basic finances, consumer mathematics, and population growth among other topics for the 21st century. This course is designed as a Mathematics Liberal Arts course (MLA). See Placement Test policy under Academic Services (L07).
