AHI 200 Earth, Air, Fire, Water

The course is an interdisciplinary exploration of the four elements - earth, air, fire, water - in the history of art. Not only landscape painting, but also the four elements used in making art will be discussed. In addition, interdisciplinary considerations may include relevant ideas in philosophy, religion, science, literature, and music. No prerequisite.
