EDA 529 Mental & Educational Measurement

This course explores the role of measurement in education with emphasis on the different types, use, and interpretation of standardized tests; basic statistics and their application in the interpretation of results; concepts of reliability and validity as they relate to the different methods of assessment, and introduction to construction, use and evaluation of teacher-made tests. Prerequisite: EDA 500 or its equivalent. Fall, Spring, Summer.
