ENG 237 Asian American Literature

This course introduces and examines the wide range of experiences that comprise Asian American literature. Course topic may address a specific theme, time period, and/or genre. Readings may include authors from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds (including but not restricted to Chinese, Japanese, South Asian, Korean, and Filipino) to show the diversity of artistic reactions to community, citizenship, family, gender, and/or class.
