ENG 234 Comparative Ethnic US Lit

Comparative study of ethnic literatures of the United States, such as Asian American, Native American, Black American, Irish American, Jewish American, Chicanx, and/or Latinx literatures, exploring such subjects as immigration, diaspora, and assimilation, historical memory, and interethnic conflict and solidarity. This course may be taken more than once, provided it addresses a different topic when taken again. Fulfills the diversity requirement. (C2)
