PSY 391 Learning

An overview of the major theories that attempt to account for the dynamics of behavior and learning and their neurobiological mechanisms in human and non-human animals. Emphasis is on the empirical research findings that describe the processes of classical and operant conditioning and short- and long-term memory. Lab Fee. This course includes and imbedded lab equivalent to 1 credit hour. Prerequisite: successful completion of PSY 101, PSY 110, or PSY 111 with a C or better. Recommended that students first complete, PSY 320 and PSY 320L with a C or better. Alternating Fall semesters with PSY 375.
