HIS 272 Intro to American Dreams

Students will explore how different generations have understood and embraced the American Dream and why various segments of society have felt, for economic and/or social reasons, that the American Dream is out of reach. Students will examine the effects of state policies and deindustrialization on civic behavior and community stability in modern America. Fulfills diversity requirement. (L03)
