CJS 347 Juvenile Justice
This course is a general orientation to the field of juvenile justice. It critically examines the juvenile justice system in the United States. Examining the goals and objectives of the system. It will also familiarize students with the evolution of juvenile justice courts and key players in the juvenile justice adjudication process. Additionally, students will examine issues dealing with the juvenile court process as well as compare and contract the juvenile and adult justice court systems. Offered alternating fall semesters.
