CJS 336 Public Policies, Crime, & CJS
Within the context of public policy formation this course will examine, after a general investigation of how public policy is created in the U.S., several current controversial issues in criminal justice policy. As part of our investigations we will take the time to view criminal justice policy from the standpoint of race and the actual and perceived effect of criminal justice policy on minorities. Prerequisite: CJS 110. Fall (alternating with CJS 330).
