Arts Administration Minor

Program Overview:

The minor in Arts Administration is interdisciplinary and provides students with an opportunity to explore and apply management principles and skills in context with the visual arts world. The overarching goal of the minor is to allow highly qualified undergraduate students the ability to connect their understanding of visual arts practice and theory with resource management and leadership skills. It is meant for motivated and high-achieving students who possess a strong commitment to the value of the visual arts. Coursework will enable them to become familiar with aesthetic understanding and the history and practice of visual arts. The minor will also encourage students to develop their interpersonal skills, as well as, their oral, written, and visual communication skills.
