SOC 272 Medical Sociology

This course addresses a wide range of topics related to health, illness, medicine, and alternative forms of treatment. The intersection of race, class, gender, age, and the distribution of health and illness are explored. The social meaning of health and illness is evaluated at many different levels from a national and international perspective. Fulfills diversity requirement. Spring 2019
