MUS 303 World Music

This course is open to students of all majors as an in-depth survey of music cultures from around the world and here at home. Through traditional research, field studies, and creative assignments, the student will learn how other cultures produce music (instruments, musical systems, etc.) and gain a deeper understanding for how music functions within individual societies.
