IEC 100 Intro Inclusive Erly Chld Prog
Candidates in the Inclusive Early Childhood Special Education Program will meet to learn about program expectations including the course sequence and requirements for teacher certification. Students will be presented with information about professional and service learning opportunities available to them while engaged in the study of their major. An overview of the portfolio process is introduced to candidates along with the national, state, and Saint Rose guidelines and standards for portfolio evaluation. The timeline and checkpoints for the developmental portfolio will be presented. In addition, students will be introduced to the state teacher certification requirements. Candidates in the four-year program and transfer students should enroll in this course in their first semester at Saint Rose. Fall, Spring.
