MED 635 Elementary Music Methods

An integrated approach, K-6, using Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze as the basis for exploring a more creative approach to teaching children. Emphasis is on planning, the exploration of sequence in planning, and assessment, as well as the development of original creative materials. (Corequisites: Masterworks Chorale and Laboratory Teaching- MED 637) Fall. For students in certificate program only.
