MED 521 The Orff Method of Music: Level 1

An introduction to the philosophy, basic principles and methodology of the Orff-Schulwerk process. Daily workshop-style classes cover pentatonic scales, simple bordun, ostinato, elemental forms, body movement, soprano recorder, improvisation, vocal, and rhythmic training.
