CSC 522 Object-Oriented Programming

This is an introduction to the concept of object-oriented programming.Students will gain familiarity with the basic building blocks of all computer programs.Important concepts will include variables, data types, math operations, programming sequences, decisions, iteration, and functional decomposition.After these basic concepts are mastered, real life entities will be modeled using objects.This course will be taught using Java, a contemporary object-oriented language in wide use.This course cannot be applied to the CIS Master's degree.
