PHI 200 Philosophy and Film

What does Hollywood say about what’s true, what’s good, and what’s right? This course offers an overview of Western philosophy through film: it’s historical periods, main branches, key thinkers, debates, and ideas. Students engage in a critical analysis and evaluation of the power of film to communicate and challenge our basic ideas and values. (L06)
