PBH 272 Medical Sociology

This course addresses a wide range of topics related to the societal understanding of health, illness, and wellness will be explored.  The intersection of race, class, gender, age, and the distribution of health (physical and mental) and illness are explored.  The policies and structure of the health care system will also be evaluated from a national and international perspective. Fulfills diversity requirement. Fall.
