MAT 370 Math through History

Mathematics through History provides a historical view of mathematics in the West as derived from the East with a reconstruction of the mathematics itself; the relationship of the cultural milieu to the development of the mathematics in the various time periods. Fulfills diversity requirement. Prerequisite: MAT 191 or permission of the instructor. Offered as needed.
