ENG 102 Composition for Eng Lang Learn

This course is designed as an introduction to writing in English for International Students, designed as a preparatory course for ENG 105--assisting students with composition, rhetorical, and grammatical skills that they will need to successfully complete that course. Students will develop basic English literacy and communication skills, written and conversational. Like ENG 105, the course will focus on the writing process, with special emphasis on the expectations of academic writing, sentence and paragraph structure, vocabulary, and English grammar. A grade of C or better is needed to progress to ENG 105.
