CJS 493 Cold Case

Students are accepted for the Cold Case course following submission of an application that is evaluated by the department. Selected students are trained in cold case investigation and assist local law enforcement and criminal justice agencies in solving these cases. Students enrolled in this course must commit to taking the course for at least two consecutive semesters for at least two credits for each of the first two semesters, guaranteeing an immersive cold case experience. Application required. Open to Forensic Science, Forensic Psychology or Criminal Justice, Behavior & Law majors only. Prerequisite: C or higher in CJS 244, CJS 340, CJS 343 or CJS 424. Fall, Spring.
