BUS 202 Finance & Ethics in Movies 1

This is a course that introduces through popular movies some of the ideas and practices related to finance. Besides the specific topics in finance that each movie presents, issues of ethics are another focus of the course. The topics that may be discovered through the movies include insider trading, financial crisis, derivatives trading, margin requirement, futures trading, risk management with option strategies, leveraged buyout, and others. The topics covered each semester may differ according to the movies chosen for the semester. No prior knowledge in Finance is necessary.
