3+2 Program in Engineering
**No new applications are being accepted for these programs at The College of Saint Rose.
Qualified students majoring in either Mathematics (B.A.) or Chemistry (B.S.) may complete both a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) at The College of Saint Rose and a bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Under our affiliation agreement with RPI, students complete three years of prescribed course work at Saint Rose (meeting all major and liberal education requirements) and then complete two years of study within the Engineering program at RPI. After completion of the first year of coursework at RPI, students must submit official transcripts to Saint Rose for evaluation of transfer credits. Students interested in pursuing only an Engineering degree may meet essential science and mathematics prerequisites at Saint Rose and then transfer to an institution of their choice to complete the degree in Engineering. Students interested in this program should contact the School of Mathematics and Sciences.
