Liberal Education Requirements

The bachelor’s degree at The College of Saint Rose builds on a balanced foundation of study in the arts and sciences that creates a context for advanced study in each major. The Liberal Education courses reflect learning outcomes related to the mission and institutional goals of the College. These outcomes are expressed in the form of learning objectives, which are collectively articulated in The College of Saint Rose Liberal Education Goal Statement.  To ensure that these learning objectives effectively promote student learning, the Liberal Educational curriculum is assessed regularly by the faculty.
