SOC 498 Senior Seminar
This seminar is open to Sociology majors in their senior year. A basic course goal is to help students integrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired in previous sociology courses. The seminar differs from other classes not only by requiring that students participate more actively, but also by requiring that they take a significant role in conducting class sessions. Course enrollment is limited to promote student involvement and participation. Significant reading and independent analysis are expected of seminar participants. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement. Fall
