SCI 350 Science in Modern Society

This course will serve as the capstone course for Childhood Education and Special Education/Childhood Education majors with concentrations in Biology, Earth Science or General Science. Current Issues in Science Education will examine interdisciplinary scientific concepts (biology, chemistry, physics and ecology) and apply the tools of science to topical public issues. Students in the education science concentrations must have taken 24 credits in the concentration prior to enrolling in this capstone course. Prerequisite: CHM 105 or CHM 190. Offered as needed.
