An overview of the foundational theoretical perspectives and empirical findings in psychology. Topics may include the history of psychology, psychological research methods, basic statistical applications of psychology, biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, states of consciousness, conditioning and learning, memory, motivation and emotion, health and stress, developmental psychology, cognition and creativity, intelligence and sexuality, personality, abnormal behavior, therapies, social behavior, cultural psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, community psychology and other areas of applied psychology.
