CSC 424 Systems Design & Implentation
This course will present a study of the systems development life cycle with an emphasis on the object-oriented approach. Topics include project management, feasibility studies, entity relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface design, hardware specifications, system quality and benchmarking, implementation and maintenance. (UML -Unified Modeling Language will be presented. Students will design and implement various representative case studies using the platform of their choice. Prototyping will be emphasized. This course fulfills the requirement of the writing-intensive course. Prerequisites: CSC302, CSC321 and CSC455. (3 Credits)
