AHI 101 IntroArtHistory Non-Art Majors

This one-semester survey introduces students with no prior background in art to the major movements, monuments and artists of global art from the prehistoric era through the 21st century. Students will learn to analyze artistic styles with regard to cultural contexts. Includes one required Saturday trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art; transportation will be covered by course fee.
