BUS 310 Business Communication

This course introduces students to the theory and fundamentals of management, with an emphasis on communication tools and techniques. While management is often thought of as a 'top down' process, successful managers and employees often manage 'up' as well as 'laterally.' The course focus will be at the introductory level, exploring the fundamentals and practice of modern management principles. Students will apply this learning by developing communication strategies and skills. Prerequisites: ENG 105, BUS111, BUS233, BUS246.
